A drug addict who stole from elderly and disabled people has been jailed for what an Adelaide judge said were "heartless and despicable" crimes.
Angela Emma Makris, 53, had a $400 per day heroin addiction and had turned to drugs to deal with past abuse, the court was told.
She attacked elderly and disabled people and in one case systematically took $16,000 when she preyed on an old man's kindness.
