Two drug addicts will spend at least nine years in jail for a botched contract killing in Adelaide. The Supreme Court heard Brett Matthew Murch, 38, dressed as a Telstra maintenance worker when he went to a house at Mount Barker and fired at least three shots at Leonard Gjeka, in 2010. Russell James Logan, 40, admitted driving the car used by the pair to escape and helping dispose of the gun. The court was told the men were to be paid $50,000 by drug dealers for killing the target.
