Troy Buswell 'not receiving special treatment': Premier

The WA Premier Colin Barnett has said the former treasurer Troy Buswell is being treated like any other member of the public facing car crash charges. Buswell was on his way home from a wedding reception in the early hours of February 23 when he allegedly crashed into four cars and a pole in the Perth suburb of Subiaco. Hours before reports of the incident began to emerge, Buswell called the Premier and resigned from Cabinet.
