Accused wife killer Gerard Baden-Clay told a police officer to "keep your voice down" when discussing his marital problems in the wake of his wife Allison's disappearance.
The 43-year-old former real estate agent has pleaded not guilty to the 2012 murder of his wife, whose body was found on a creek bank 10 kilometres from the couple's Brisbane home, 10 days after she was reported missing.
Sergeant Greg Matthies told the court Baden-Clay visited a forward command post at Brookfield Showgrounds on April 21, 2012 and their conversation was recorded.
A recording of the conversation was played at Baden-Clay's murder trial in Brisbane's Supreme Court today.
