A gunman shot by specialist police officers during a stand-off in Brisbane's south has died.
The man had been holed up in his car armed with a gun at Inala since about 12pm (AEST), when officers attended an address in Gannet Street to conduct an enquiry on an unrelated matter.
An emergency declaration was made for the area bounded by Comorant, Clipper, Brolga, Parakeet, Partridge, Wirraway, Kittyhawk streets and Inala Avenue.
